I’m member of the editorial board with Handelszeitung, Switzerland’s leading business weekly.
I’m managing a team of business editors who are covering highly regulated industries and sectors like banking, insurance, utilities und telcos.
I’m living and working in Zurich, Switzerland.
For now more than ten years I’ve been working as a business journalist. Prior to Handelszeitung I was working as deputy head of business section at Die Nordwestschweiz – one of Switzerland’s largest daily newspaper.
I hold a Master in Business Administration from Zurich University of Applied Sciences and a M.A. in Literature and Media sciences from University of Basel. I’ve also taken Seminars for Business Journalist at Wharton Business School in Philadelphia.
I’ve received a postgraduate certificate of advanced studies in Business Communication and Management from University of St. Gallen.
Recently I’ve attended a course in data journalism/data science which involved following topics: Python, Unix Command Line, Github, Scraper-Libraries, BeautifulSoup, Pandas, Selenium, matplotlib, Regular Expressions, Stackoverflow, Natural Language Processing
I’m a native (Swiss) German speaker, fluent in English and French.
